Job Summary

This role is based in Falkenstein/Vogtland, supporting one of Europe's largest web hosting and datacenter operators. The Datacenter Technician is primarily responsible for providing first-class technical support to international customers utilizing dedicated servers and colocation services. Daily duties involve managing and resolving technical inquiries via tickets, calls, and emails, as well as performing hands-on tasks such as the repair, provisioning, and expansion of customer systems. A critical component of the job is contributing to the ongoing maintenance of the IT infrastructure within the datacenter park to ensure maximum system reliability and a secure environment. Successful candidates must possess a formal qualification in IT systems integration or equivalent technical expertise, strong knowledge of modern hardware components, and basic proficiency in Linux and networking. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are mandatory, along with a commitment to high customer orientation and the flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift rotation.
