Job Summary

This role is centered on connecting people and technology by ensuring seamless electronic data interchange (EDI) for a leading IT solutions provider focused on smart integration. The EDI Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle management of EDI systems, including setting up, configuring, and maintaining critical EDI interfaces and mappings, such as EDIFACT and XML. Daily tasks involve managing and developing EDI processes in collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, providing essential 1st and 2nd level support for incident analysis and resolution, and meticulously monitoring and documenting daily system operations. A key focus is driving digital optimization of business processes and implementing new connections and projects alongside internal IT partners and external service providers. Candidates should possess relevant IT training or equivalent qualifications, proven professional experience in the EDI environment, and strong analytical, solution-oriented skills, coupled with fluent German language proficiency.
