Job Summary

This role involves connecting people and technology by serving as an ambitious PLC Programmer for a client, focusing on the creation and development of PLC programs for mid-to-large automation projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing control software for machinery and systems, conducting test runs, performing error analysis and debugging, and maintaining comprehensive software documentation and operating manuals. Collaboration with other departments to integrate control systems and providing training on production facilities are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or a relevant Technician/Bachelor Professional qualification, possesses solid knowledge of automation technology, and ideally has initial experience with PLC programs such as Codesys, Siemens Simatic S7/TIA-Portal, Beckhoff/TwinCat 3, and/or Rockwell/Allan-Bradley. Excellent German skills and good English skills are required, along with a willingness to undertake occasional business trips.
