Job Summary

This senior leadership role as Executive Director, Clinical Science, involves spearheading a best-in-class Clinical Science and Center of Excellence function. The ED will manage a team of Clinical Scientists responsible for establishing best practices in the design, conduct, and documentation of early and late phase clinical studies, ensuring medical data integrity and compliance with GCP. Key responsibilities include overseeing the clinical program pipeline, driving process improvement initiatives, and ensuring the timely, high-quality delivery of innovative protocols, CSRs, and regulatory filings. The role requires serving as a subject matter expert on clinical development excellence, championing clinical trial innovation—including decentralized trials, generative AI, and real-world data integration—and leading resource forecasting and talent development strategies for the organization. This position is critical for advancing the clinical portfolio and setting the vision and culture for clinical science excellence within the Global Development Leadership Team.
