Job Summary

This critical role, based preferably in Newcastle, serves as the European Demo Centre Manager for Leica Biosystems, driving customer excellence within the EMEA region. The manager is responsible for providing a premium experience for customers requiring demonstrations of LBS equipment, either at their facilities or the Newcastle Demo Lab. Day-to-day tasks involve establishing Standard Work and Daily Management to ensure optimized utilization and inventory control of the demo stock, managing freight forwarder performance, and executing targeted sell-off strategies for aging equipment. The role requires a Degree in Life Sciences, Technical, or Logistics, coupled with multiple years of experience in a demo/logistics environment, medical device sales, or product management. Fluency in both English and German is mandatory, alongside effective knowledge of SAP or alternative ERP/CRM systems to manage financial and processing complexity. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Life Sciences and/or Technical or Logistics experience in a relevant industry.

  • Ability to travel within EMEA less than 20%. Primary work location is Newcastle. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
