Job Summary

This role as a PCB Layout Designer, based in Berlin within the renowned aerospace and aviation sector, involves the end-to-end design and creation of digital printed circuit board layouts. Key responsibilities include developing layouts based on electrical schematics, performing RF design and layout simulations, and selecting appropriate PCB technologies while innovating layer stack configurations in close collaboration with production teams. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive documentation sets, managing components through to series production, and overseeing Product Data Management (PDM), change control, and overall product maintenance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering, or a relevant technical vocational qualification combined with long-term professional experience. Essential requirements include practical experience in layout creation, PCB manufacturing technologies, and electrical construction, coupled with strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology. Proficiency in CAE and ECAD tools (such as Zuken CR8000) is required, along with fluent German and good written and spoken English skills.
