Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join MITNETZ STROM, the largest regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany, dedicated to securing the future energy supply. The successful candidate will play a responsible role in maintaining stable and sustainable electricity grid operations, with a specific focus on municipal concession management across Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg, and Thuringia. Day-to-day responsibilities include the strategic evaluation of existing concession contracts, analyzing relevant legal frameworks, and developing regional concession proposals, including comprehensive grid management concepts. You will be responsible for ensuring operational processes align with grid security, communal interests, and environmental standards. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, or Industrial Engineering, coupled with professional experience in the electricity grid sector, particularly in handling concession contracts and navigating regulatory frameworks.
