Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join MITNETZ STROM, the largest regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany, focusing on preparing the grid for the energy future. Based in Kabelsketal, you will be primarily responsible for the planning, project management, and construction of high-voltage measures. Day-to-day activities involve analyzing complex technical requirements, developing sophisticated solutions, and implementing them within challenging protection and control technology (P&C) projects. You will create comprehensive technical concepts for P&C systems, contribute expertise to strategic network planning, and act as the primary contact for technical challenges in high and medium-voltage networks. Success requires a completed university degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, coupled with relevant professional experience in P&C. Essential technical knowledge includes expertise in parameterizing network protection devices and determining setting values, alongside strong business acumen in cost and quality management for technical projects.
