This role is vital for ensuring the secure operation and digitalization of power grids, specifically focusing on the operation and maintenance of substations within the largest regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to assigned staff and support the organization of operational processes. Day-to-day tasks involve overseeing construction and maintenance projects, preparing for commissioning, accompanying system acceptances, and deriving necessary technical measures from network status monitoring. The position acts as a crucial link between planning and operational implementation, requiring close collaboration with specialist colleagues, partner companies, and project management. Ideal candidates possess a Master Electrician or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering and relevant professional experience in power system operations, ideally holding a 110 kV switching authorization.
