Job Summary

This role involves supporting and maintaining the central IT infrastructure for the Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport (MUNV) in North Rhine-Westphalia. The specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support, including managing the IT hotline, processing tickets, and offering on-site support for employees using various hardware and software. Key daily tasks include the installation, configuration, and administration of IT workplaces, optimizing related processes, and contributing to IT asset management and documentation. The ideal candidate must have completed vocational training as an IT Specialist in System Integration and possess fluent German communication skills. While not mandatory, experience in public administration IT operations, along with knowledge of tools like Microsoft Windows Server, PowerShell, VMware, and SCCM, is highly advantageous.
