Job Summary

Zalando is seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join the ERP Record to Report (R2R) Tech team. This role is crucial for shaping scalable financial solutions in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include taking ownership of the R2R process, designing, configuring, and implementing SAP FI solutions (GL, AP, AR) and, crucially, SAP CO solutions (CCA, PCA, Transfer Pricing, CO-PA). The consultant will gather and analyze business requirements from finance stakeholders, translate them into functional specifications, and perform gap analysis to recommend SAP best practices. Furthermore, the role involves providing functional expertise and collaborating on cross-functional processes, including Procure to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C) integration points (MM/SD). The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on configuration expertise and support critical month-end and year-end closing activities.
