Job Summary

This Electrical Engineer position at HAMBURG WASSER involves ensuring the safe, compliant, and economical operation of complex combustion facilities, which are crucial for the company's water cycle and environmental mission. Key daily responsibilities include monitoring and supervising the integrated power plant systems—consisting of three fluidized bed furnaces, flue gas cleaning systems, and a gas and steam turbine process—as well as participating in the commissioning of a new plant. The role requires proactive troubleshooting, coordination of external services, and performing electrical isolation procedures up to 10 kV. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and possess process engineering knowledge, particularly in power plant technology, including turbine and flue gas cleaning systems. Familiarity with technical regulations, process control systems, and initial SAP experience are essential.
