Job Summary

This critical role within the Sludge Incineration department at HAMBURG WASSER focuses on ensuring the safe, compliant, and economical operation of complex combustion facilities. The day-to-day work involves monitoring and supervising incineration plants, which include three fluidized bed furnaces, associated flue gas cleaning systems, and a gas and steam turbine process used for heat extraction. Key responsibilities include independent troubleshooting, coordinating and supervising external service providers, performing process adjustments, and executing electrical switching procedures up to 10 kV. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and possesses specific process engineering knowledge, particularly in supervising power plant technology, turbine systems, and flue gas cleaning. This position offers a highly stable environment within a major water utility committed to sustainability, providing a 38-hour work week, 30 days of vacation, and significant flexibility in working hours and location.
