Job Summary

This role involves ensuring robust information security within Operational Technology (OT) environments for a critical infrastructure provider (water supply and wastewater disposal). The specialist will conduct comprehensive risk analyses and security assessments in OT settings, advising technical departments on best practices and developing security measures based on standards like BSI IT-Grundschutz. A core responsibility is supporting audits and certifications, contributing to the creation and maintenance of security concepts and emergency plans, and managing security incidents (Incident Response and analysis). The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in Information Security or equivalent knowledge, deep expertise in standards like ISO/IEC 27001 and NIS2, and a strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS) and secure network segmentation. This position is crucial for maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in a KRITIS environment.
