Job Summary

This role involves leading a team of 9 employees within the City Treasury Department, focusing primarily on Accounts Receivable (AR) accounting, miscellaneous taxes, and individual revenues. The Group Lead is responsible for the technical leadership of the workgroup, including optimizing workflows, managing daily workload disposition, and providing professional guidance and control to subordinates. Key duties include controlling open items, processing complex individual cases, organizing cooperation with other departments, and independently consulting with citizens and institutions. The position also involves central AR tasks such as controlling and realizing the booking day, optimizing dunning and payment runs, and leading quality assurance and continuous process optimization efforts, including contributing to the revision of city-wide service instructions. This leadership position requires a degree in Public Administration or Economics, or equivalent professional qualifications, coupled with strong organizational and financial management skills.
