Job Summary

This is a full-time, fixed-term position available until May 31, 2029, focusing on advanced theoretical physics research. The successful candidate will join ongoing efforts to compute hadron scattering amplitudes utilizing lattice Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). Key day-to-day tasks involve contributing to existing research directions, specifically focusing on the computation of baryon scattering amplitudes and analyzing their quark mass dependence. Furthermore, the role requires interpreting these findings using chiral effective theory. Candidates must possess a doctorate in physics with a specialization in theoretical hadron and nuclear physics, coupled with proven numerical and/or analytic computation skills. A strong background in lattice field theory is highly preferred. This role offers the opportunity to work in a competitive international environment, requiring strong motivation and proficiency in English for organizing and writing scientific documents.
