Job Summary

This role involves supporting and coordinating IT and digitalization initiatives within the Children's Daycare department. Key responsibilities include advising departmental leadership on application software acquisition, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and preparing essential evaluations and statistics. The officer will be responsible for planning digital projects, developing requirements concepts (Sollkonzept), moderating working groups, and creating detailed specifications for software procurement and tenders. Day-to-day tasks also involve monitoring IT equipment, initiating new purchases, serving as the primary IT contact for daycare centers, and developing and delivering training programs for leadership on municipal IT systems. The position requires a background in Administration and Finance (equivalent to Certified Administrative Specialist or Employee Examination II), strong proficiency in project and process management, and excellent MS Office skills, ensuring efficient and self-directed work.
