Job Summary

This Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer role focuses heavily on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensure the robustness and resilience of critical Linux server infrastructure within SAP's Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS). The successful candidate will perform in-depth RCA, analyze complex system issues, and implement effective solutions across Linux-based systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Day-to-day tasks include monitoring, troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and maintaining security and compliance (OS hardening). This position requires collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating detailed RCA reports and documentation, and implementing automation using scripting and configuration management tools. Operating in a global 24x7 setting, the role also involves mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to continuous process improvement within the Server Management team.
