Job Summary

This PhD position offers a unique opportunity within the Department of Medicine A – Hematology, Oncology and Pneumology at the UKM, a leading German university hospital. The successful candidate will join the 'Aggressive Lymphomas' research group to elucidate the molecular mechanisms driving malignant lymphoma subtypes. Day-to-day tasks involve the independent planning and execution of complex experiments, developing novel experimental strategies, thorough documentation and analysis of research data, and preparing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals. Key requirements include a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline such as molecular medicine, biology, or biochemistry, coupled with solid expertise in protein, molecular, or cell biology techniques. This role provides an excellent, stimulating, multidisciplinary, and international research environment with access to state-of-the-art equipment and intensive mentoring, focusing on improving molecular classification and individualized treatment strategies.
