Job Summary

This role involves working as a Biology Laboratory Technician within the R&D division of a leading global pharmaceutical and crop protection corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing greenhouse trials, specifically characterizing seed samples for herbicide resistance. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning and preparing seed samples, handling crop protection agents and test substances, operating application systems, and ensuring optimal plant growth conditions. A key part of the job is evaluating experiments through visual observation, documenting results in the IT system, and drafting reports. This position requires a completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., Biology Laboratory Technician or Chemical Laboratory Technician), experience with laboratory automation and databases, and proficiency in both German and English.
