Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg focuses on optimizing the institution's data infrastructure and reporting capabilities. The successful candidate will analyze and advance data management, Data Governance, and quality assurance processes, implementing these improvements via evaluation modules. Key responsibilities include the conception, implementation, and maintenance of reports and reporting modules using Business Intelligence (BI) software, and continuing the development of a scalable, cross-university database model. The specialist will also play a crucial role in supporting the Quality Management System for research, teaching, and administration, and assisting in the realization of data-driven decision templates. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, coupled with very strong expertise in database systems, Data Warehouse concepts, and quality management, ideally within the higher education sector.
