Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Surveying Engineer to contribute to maintaining Germany's critical highway infrastructure from the Kempten branch office. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing comprehensive documentation for traffic and environmentally compliant road planning, executing construction-preparatory surveying, and meticulously reviewing existing geodetic data to determine the need for further measurements. The engineer will select appropriate surveying procedures and equipment based on terrain requirements, create precise digital terrain models utilizing CAD software, and manage the commissioning and quality control of external surveying service providers. Furthermore, the role involves conducting structural control measurements to monitor changes in infrastructure like bridges and tunnels. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Geodesy or Geoinformatics, fundamental practical experience in surveying, and knowledge of relevant German technical standards.
