Job Summary

This role supports the Operations and Traffic division of Germany's federal highway infrastructure operator (Autobahn GmbH), focusing on ensuring safe and smooth mobility across 13,000 kilometers of road. The technician will be centrally involved in the planning, design, and construction preparation of essential electrical systems, including traffic control installations, tunnel systems, lighting, pump stations, and transformer stations along the federal highways. Key responsibilities also include construction supervision, managing engineering and maintenance contracts, coordinating maintenance schedules, and executing commissioning and acceptance tests for new installations. Candidates must hold a qualification as a Certified Electrical Engineering Technician or equivalent, possess initial experience working with electrical systems, and demonstrate fluent German language skills. This position offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to actively contribute to critical infrastructure development.
