Job Summary

This full-time role involves hands-on installation, commissioning, and maintenance of modern telecommunication infrastructure, focusing on Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and DSL/VoIP services within customer premises (NE4 area). Day-to-day responsibilities include splicing fiber optic cables indoors (e.g., APL), mounting and documenting house connections (APL, TAE), and performing final measurements. The technician will also be responsible for installing and commissioning DSL and VoIP connections, setting up routers and network devices, and conducting fault analysis and troubleshooting directly at the customer site. This position requires a strong technical interest or initial experience in telecommunications or electrical engineering, though career changers are explicitly welcome and will receive full training. Essential requirements include a reliable, independent work ethic, good German language skills for effective customer interaction, and a Class B driver's license.
