Job Summary

This Research Associate position, located at the TUD Dresden University of Technology within the Cluster of Excellence REC², focuses on developing responsible electronics for the future. The role, situated in the Chair of Organic Devices, involves the hands-on fabrication and characterization of advanced electronic components. Key daily tasks include fabricating metal oxide and organic thin films (polymers, small molecules, COFs) using solution-processing methods, and producing corresponding transistor device structures. The associate will characterize these devices morphologically and electrically using techniques like I-V, C-V, and C-f, both in the dark and under illumination. A unique focus is the development of reuse schemes for device layers, specifically through delamination or triggered disassembly, requiring close collaboration with diverse scientific teams within the REC² Cluster. The ideal candidate holds an outstanding Master's degree in chemistry, physics, electronics, or materials science, coupled with prior experience in thin film electronic device fabrication and basic knowledge of semiconductor physics.
