Job Summary

This role is for an Associate within the global Cybersecurity Assurance function, providing objective, independent assurance to the Managing Board and Audit Committee. The successful candidate will be a key player in identifying, assessing, and monitoring Cybersecurity risks across Siemens' global operations, including IT/OT infrastructures, product security, and cloud environments. Day-to-day tasks involve performing hands-on risk assessments, executing comprehensive Cybersecurity audits on systems and software development centers, and translating complex technical findings into actionable management information. You will also drive cybersecurity governance assessments, focusing on policies like incident handling and vulnerability management. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science and 5+ years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity, preferably gained at a Big 4 firm or within a related industry. Experience

  • 5+ years working experience in the field of Cybersecurity within a related industry, Big 4 accounting firm, or consultancy.
  • Professional experience performing hands-on risk assessments of processes and controls.
  • Experience preparing and executing Cybersecurity audits on IT systems, products, and software development centers.
  • Professional experience assessing Cybersecurity governance, policies, and processes (e.g., incident handling, vulnerability management).
