Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Manager to oversee the critical Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM I) function for rail vehicles, ensuring compliance with stringent EU regulations (Directive 2016/798 and Regulation 2019/779). The successful candidate will manage and represent Siemens Mobility's ECM interests globally, steering the international ECM community and ensuring audit-proof, economical process design. Day-to-day tasks include securing comprehensive reporting for subordinate ECM functions (II, III, IV), contributing expertise to Bid Management and operational projects, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance and internal audit processes. This position requires a Master's degree, expert knowledge in rail vehicle maintenance/commissioning, and fluent proficiency in both German and English, offering a chance to shape the future of mobility compliance within a leading global provider.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical or business Master's degree.

Experience

  • Long-term experience and expert knowledge in commissioning or maintenance, including standardization, of rail vehicles.
  • Experience in the legally compliant design of management systems.
  • Professional experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders (customers, auditors, partners).
  • Customer experience with operators/railway undertakings and relevant project experience.
