Job Summary

This Project Manager role involves overseeing the planning, project leadership, and client representation for new construction, conversion, and expansion projects focused on technical systems within active hospital and laboratory settings. Daily tasks include assessing the condition of existing technical systems, developing renewal concepts and replacement strategies, and ensuring the successful commissioning of new facilities. The ideal candidate will coordinate internal and external service providers, manage cost tracking, and handle project invoicing. Key qualifications include a degree in Supply Engineering or equivalent technical certification, coupled with professional experience in facility management (HVAC, plumbing, climate control). This position offers an engaging and varied workload with a high degree of personal responsibility within a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team at a major university medical center.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Supply Engineering (Diplom-Ingenieur FH, Master, or Bachelor), or certified Meister or Technician with corresponding professional experience, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and project work for new construction and conversion measures (Desirable)
  • Professional experience in building services and utilities (Required for Master/Bachelor/Technician/Meister qualification)
  • Experience in managing external companies and contractual partners
  • Experience in cost planning and business administration
