Job Summary

This challenging role within the UMG Technology Transfer unit focuses on bridging research findings into practical medical applications, ultimately benefiting patients through improved diagnostics and treatment. The Technology Manager will systematically analyze research projects, grant applications, and scientific literature by engaging directly with researchers and students to identify commercial transfer potential. A core responsibility is evaluating the commercial viability of foundational and clinical translational research, including the molecular and clinical validation of target molecules relative to existing clinical programs. Success requires deep familiarity with market needs across the Life Sciences sector, from medical devices to pharmaceuticals. The manager will cultivate working relationships with industry companies and investors, requiring strong communication skills and implementation strength, alongside a degree in Natural Sciences, Biotechnology, or Medicine.
