Job Summary

The Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg is seeking a full-time Research Associate for a 3-year fixed-term position starting September 1, 2025, within the Institute for Pharmacy. This role involves investigating the biosynthesis of pharmaceutically relevant terpenes in plants and characterizing transcription factors influencing terpene biosynthesis under various factors. The successful candidate will also be responsible for publishing scientific findings, attending conferences, and conducting courses in Pharmaceutical Biology. This position offers an excellent opportunity for personal scientific qualification and requires a strong background in plant molecular biology and biochemistry, along with an interest in active substance biosynthesis in plants. Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team is key.
