Job Summary

The Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Molecular Medicine of Signal Transduction research group. This full-time, fixed-term position (3 years) focuses on advancing precision oncology for colorectal cancer by developing and applying innovative, patient-specific preclinical models. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating tumor organoids, executing single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) experiments, and performing genetic manipulation using CRISPR technology. Key requirements include a completed PhD in life sciences, extensive experience with organoid culture, scRNA-seq, and CRISPR genome editing, and programming proficiency in R or Python.
