Job Summary

This Postdoctoral Researcher role, based at the Institute of Molecular Medicine at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, focuses on advancing precision oncology in colorectal cancer. The successful candidate will develop and apply innovative, patient-specific preclinical models to understand tumor-microenvironment interactions and identify novel therapeutic strategies. Day-to-day tasks include the cultivation of colorectal cancer organoids, execution of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) experiments, and genetic manipulation using CRISPR technology. This position requires a completed PhD in Life Sciences, significant experience with organoid culture, scRNA-seq, and CRISPR genome editing, coupled with programming skills in R or Python.
