Job Summary

This role focuses on the continuous development and maintenance of the Workforce Management application (Personnel Deployment Planning) within the IT department of a major retailer. The System Analyst will be a competent contact person, collaborating closely with Product Owners and other IT departments to implement new features and ensure a stable, high-performing system. Day-to-day tasks involve analyzing errors, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring optimal functioning of technical interfaces (Imports/Exports/API). The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Economics, or equivalent professional experience. Key requirements include excellent communication skills, a results-oriented and independent work style, and a foundational understanding of agile methodologies. Experience with Workforce Management topics and legal frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
