Job Summary
This role involves providing essential administrative support within the Business Travel Management department of a central university administration in Aachen. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising travelers on the planning, booking, and settlement of business trips and excursions, ensuring compliance with the North Rhine-Westphalia State Travel Expenses Act and various travel framework agreements. Day-to-day tasks include applying legal regulations, utilizing the digital travel workflow (SAP FIORI Portal), and processing expenses using SAP FI-TV. The position requires a completed administrative or comparable qualification, strong IT skills (ideally SAP FI-TV), excellent communication and social competence, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to process improvement. This is a crucial service role supporting the university's core functions in research and teaching, offering a secure, innovative, and diverse work environment.
