Job Summary

This role involves the technical and conceptual development of the IServ RLP system, a new standard network solution for schools in Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive system administration, including data backup, fault analysis, and availability management. Key day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining technical documentation, preparing educational and standard software for automated installation, and providing Third-Level Support for the IServ RLP platform. A strong background in IT security management, including firewall administration and implementing basic IT security measures, is essential. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, coupled with expertise in Linux, scripting, directory services (LDAP/AD), and network/backup technologies, offering a chance to shape the digital infrastructure of the educational sector.
