This role involves ensuring the secure, orderly, and continuous operation of complex IT infrastructures, focusing heavily on Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure environments within the administrative IT department. The System Administrator will be responsible for the operation of the M365 tenant and Windows systems at SL1 and SL2 levels, requiring deep expertise in Windows system administration and Active Directory. Day-to-day tasks include processing incident and error reports, estimating effort, deriving change requests, and performing system modifications, installations, and integrations of new products. A key aspect is providing expert consultation to adjacent departments and system/application management on complex IT topics. The ideal candidate brings a technical degree or vocational training, coupled with professional experience in Windows system management, Scripting (PowerShell/Bicep), and familiarity with modern practices like CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, making this an attractive opportunity to shape the future IT landscape of a critical aviation organization.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, Data and Process Analysis, or Application Development) or Technical/Scientific University Degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) with a focus on Computer Science, Mathematics, or Communications Engineering. Engineer-level certification in Windows System Administration (e.g., MCSE) is expected.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in relevant areas (following technical education/degree)
  • Demonstrable professional practice in Windows System Management or Software Development
  • Experience with autonomous task execution is ideal
  • Experience in Project Management is ideal
