Job Summary

This role as a Technical Support and Facilities Specialist is based at the dynamic Leipzig/Halle air traffic control tower, which features both traditional and remote tower operations, including crucial night activity supporting the freight hub. The specialist will manage internal Facilities Management (FM) services, handling everything from inventory, goods logistics, and procurement of consumables to supporting waste management. A key responsibility involves acting as the primary contact for technical service providers and the airport, overseeing the branch's vehicle fleet, and monitoring infrastructural contractors (e.g., cleaning, winter services) to ensure quality standards are met. Furthermore, the specialist will independently conduct qualified maintenance, inspections, and upkeep of company buildings and technical assets. Candidates must possess completed technical vocational training, preferably in Electrical Engineering, coupled with at least two years of relevant professional experience, practical manual skills, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
