This role seeks an IT Support Technician to provide essential on-site user support within a diverse, often scientific, IT landscape in Oldenburg. The core responsibilities involve managing the entire lifecycle of IT components, including the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of various hardware and software systems. A key aspect of the job is providing direct technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and meticulously documenting all inquiries and solutions, ideally utilizing standard ticketing systems. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in IT or equivalent experience, coupled with practical knowledge of operating systems, particularly Microsoft Clients, with Linux knowledge being a plus.
