Job Summary

This role is for a pragmatic and reliable IT Support Technician specializing in 1st Level support, primarily providing onsite assistance via TechLounge and Floorwalk in Essen Central. Daily responsibilities include confident user support, meticulous ticket creation and maintenance (ideally using tools like ServiceNow), initial fault diagnosis, and clear documentation. The technician will handle hardware support for Windows (Notebooks, Convertibles), macOS (MacBooks), and iOS devices (iPhones/iPads), alongside managing Microsoft 365/Office environments, VDI solutions (such as Citrix), and performing BitLocker recovery. A core technical requirement is device and user management within Azure AD and Intune, ensuring compliance and basic policy adherence. Success requires strong communication skills to support both German and English-speaking users, both written and verbally, coupled with a customer-oriented and process-driven approach. This position offers an unlimited contract and a long-term professional perspective.
