This role seeks an experienced IT Technician to provide comprehensive on-site user support within a diverse, heterogeneous IT infrastructure, specifically serving a scientific user environment in Dresden. The core responsibilities include resolving technical issues for end-users in a solution-oriented and professional manner, managing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both hardware and software components, and systematically documenting all customer inquiries and solutions within a ticketing system. Candidates must possess a completed IT vocational training or equivalent qualification, strong proficiency with Microsoft client environments, and ideally, initial experience with Linux client installations (Ubuntu/Red Hat).
