Job Summary

This specialist role focuses on managing the certification process for the prestigious Blue Angel and EU Ecolabel environmental marks in Germany. The successful candidate will independently process applications, requiring meticulous evaluation of chemical compositions, safety data sheets, and audit reports against strict environmental criteria. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for applicants, explaining complex procedures, and maintaining vital communication channels with national and international authorities, including the Federal Environment Agency and the EU Commission. Furthermore, the Specialist will be responsible for updating award criteria, generating statistical reports, and supporting the acquisition of new label users through events and webinars. This position requires a strong academic background in Chemistry (M. Sc. or PhD), essential knowledge of REACH and CLP regulations, and fluent communication skills in both German and English, combined with strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
