Job Summary

This role involves independently processing applications for the 'Blue Angel' and 'EU Ecolabel' environmental certifications, acting as a key point of contact for applicants, explaining application procedures, and clarifying award criteria. The specialist will be responsible for evaluating critical documentation, including chemical assessments, safety data sheets, and audit reports, ensuring compliance with strict environmental standards. A significant part of the job includes communicating with relevant authorities such as the German Federal Environment Agency, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, and the EU Commission. The position requires strong analytical abilities, expertise in chemical and hazardous substance law (especially REACH and CLP regulations), and the ability to update award criteria and support the acquisition of new label users through events and webinars.
