Business Intelligence Test Specialist | Wirtschaftsinformatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves coordinating all Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse (DWH) testing activities, including planning, conception, monitoring, control, and closure. The specialist will be responsible for designing and developing test processes, systems, and applications, ensuring quality assurance across the BI/DWH landscape. A key function is serving as the interface between technical teams (architects, developers, release management) and business departments, providing consultation and support to project managers on test planning. Candidates must possess a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable field, coupled with several years of experience in test management, specifically within the BI/DWH domain. A certification in Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB) is mandatory, alongside strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in German (Fluent/C1 level). The position offers an opportunity to shape and advance the BI/DWH testing methodology (both backend and frontend) within one of Germany's largest insurance groups.
