Job Summary

This role is for an internationally focused Service Technician specializing in the commissioning and maintenance of innovative freeze-drying systems for GEA Lyophil GmbH. The successful candidate will leverage a background in electrical engineering, refrigeration technology, or mechatronics to perform independent commissioning, system qualification, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical components and software issues directly at customer sites worldwide. Key responsibilities include conducting fault analysis in mechanical and electrical systems, documenting project progress through commissioning reports, and training customers on equipment operation. This position requires significant global travel (over 80%) to locations including Asia, Canada, and Australia. Applicants must possess a relevant technical qualification (Mechatronics Technician, Master Craftsman, or Technician) coupled with strong German and good English language skills, and a Class B driver's license, demonstrating a high degree of self-reliance and service orientation.
