Job Summary

This role is for a systematically thinking professional with strong technical understanding who wishes to actively participate in the digitalization of engineering processes within the international machinery and plant construction sector. Based at GEA Westfalia Separator GmbH in Oelde, the Configuration Specialist will focus on developing application-specific standard solutions for centrifuge control systems and transferring these solutions into appropriate configuration tools. Daily responsibilities include maintaining standard modules, checking their usability across different applications, creating and managing system interfaces to ensure a highly digitalized engineering process, and coordinating standardization activities with relevant product departments. The ideal candidate holds a university degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field, and brings professional experience in configuration, along with expertise in standard-compliant control cabinet construction and tools like EPLAN and SAP KMAT. The position offers a competitive salary (€70,000 - €80,000 gross/annually), a 35-hour work week, flexible working hours, and the option for two days of remote work per week after the initial training phase.
