Job Summary

This role is an opportunity for a skilled Laboratory Technician to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim via temporary employment, with a strong focus on eventual permanent takeover. The core function involves the independent execution of technical activities critical to the development of diagnostic test systems. Key day-to-day tasks include performing variance and comparative analyses, conducting batch and tolerance evaluations, and verifying system and assay performance. The technician will be responsible for creating detailed test plans and work instructions, executing experiments, conducting statistical evaluations, and presenting the results to the team. Ideal candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent, coupled with solid professional experience in system development within the chemical industry. Specific expertise in Point of Care (PoC) diagnostic measuring systems, immunochemistry development, and experience with statistical evaluation tools like JMP are highly valued. Strong German language proficiency is mandatory for daily operations.
