Job Summary

This R&D Specialist role offers a crucial opportunity to contribute to analytical methods development and support at Roche Diagnostics in Mannheim. The specialist will be responsible for the independent and timely execution of analyses, focusing heavily on applying and refining Mass Spectrometry (MS) methods to support In-Process Controls (IPK). Key daily tasks involve actively supporting the development and validation of test methods for raw materials, intermediate products, and final products. The role requires meticulous GMP-compliant documentation of results in both electronic and paper-based systems, conducting thorough plausibility checks, and escalating any identified quality issues to responsible personnel. Candidates must possess a scientific background or Bachelor's degree in fields like Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering, along with mandatory HPLC experience. Fluency in German is required for effective communication and documentation. This position is offered through a temporary contract with a strong focus on potential permanent employment.
