Job Summary

This Associate role focuses on applying complex automation procedures for DNA and protein production and analysis, primarily utilizing modern Liquid Handling automation systems (such as Epmotion or Beckmann) and ensuring their integration with relevant IT and database systems. Key responsibilities include the generation of nucleic acids and proteins through techniques like in silico construction, plasmid creation, and gene synthesis, alongside transient or stable expression in host cells. The position requires the development and application of methods for protein purification and characterization using advanced biochemical and biophysical techniques (e.g., HPLC, FPLC, UV/Fluorescence spectroscopy). Candidates must manage laboratory operations independently, document results using specialized software, and possess a scientific education (MTA or BTA), strong knowledge of DNA work, PCR, liquid handling, and automation experience. Good English skills and IT affinity are essential prerequisites for success.
