This critical role seeks a Responsible Electrical Safety Manager to ensure the highest standards of electrical safety and regulatory compliance within the DB Systemtechnik testing facility in Chemnitz. The core responsibilities involve overseeing the electro-technical safety organization, advising leadership on legal implementation, and defining and monitoring the qualifications and training of personnel working with electrical systems and equipment. The manager will regularly audit the safe and legally compliant deployment of electrical assets and documentation, working closely with an existing Responsible Electrical Specialist for support. Ideal candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent Master/Technician qualification) coupled with significant practical experience implementing electrical safety standards. Success requires deep familiarity with relevant regulations, strong documentation skills, and the ability to confidently influence and persuade both management and staff across various hierarchical levels to maintain strict adherence to safety protocols. This is a vital position ensuring infrastructure integrity for future generations within one of Germany's largest engineering organizations.
