Job Summary

This Senior Project Engineer role, based in Erfurt, Germany, focuses on managing critical rail infrastructure projects in Thuringia, specifically concerning Overhead Contact Lines (OLA) and electrical power systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality-assured and contract-compliant steering of all planning, construction, supervision, and testing services. Daily activities involve active risk management, determining track closure requirements, processing change requests, and overseeing the tendering and awarding of contracts. A core function is coordinating diverse project stakeholders, managing interfaces between different trades, and ensuring strict adherence to cost, schedule, and quality targets, alongside compliance with all building codes and regulatory requirements. This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, combined with extensive experience in complex, publicly regulated infrastructure projects, ideally within the railway sector. Candidates must also be prepared to quickly acquire the Building Submission Authorization (BVB).

Required Skills
